Thank you for your interest in our research!

Dr Roberts headed MHIT-Psych between 2014-2017, and the lab is now closed. Thank you to everyone for their support, particularly the time and effort of our amazing participants and their families, without which, this research would not be possible. From your generous participation, we now have further insights into how probiotics (healthy bacteria) can assist with low mood, and how people with intellectual disabilities can access the same level of quality therapy that typically-developing individuals receive. 

Before research findings are made public, they undergo a rigorous review process by other scientists. This process can take time! Once results are published; they can be accessed here:

MHIT-Psych (Mental Health interventions and Translational Psychology Research) is based at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and is a lab focused on uniting research and practice to develop innovative mental-health interventions.
